How Piedmont Scout Works
The process is deliberately simple, and the order matters: you choose the property first. We never go looking for one.
Step 1 — You find the property
Browse the major Italian portals — Idealista, Immobiliare.it, or Casa.it — and find a property that genuinely interests you. (New to these sites? Our Resources page links to all three.) The choice is entirely yours; we play no part in it.
Step 2 — You send us the link and choose a package
Email [email protected] with the listing link (or the agent’s reference number) and the Scout Package you’d like. That’s all we need to get started.
Step 3 — We confirm within 24 hours
We review your request and reply within one business day. We’ll confirm the property is within range for your chosen package, contact the property’s local agent to schedule the viewing appointment, and send you bank-transfer (SEPA) details for payment.
Step 4 — We scout, you watch
On the day, we travel to the address and capture detailed photos and walk-through video of the observable condition, call you live from the property so you can direct our camera (4G/5G permitting), and send you the full report and media afterward. What you decide to do next is entirely up to you.
A note on what we observe — and what we don’t
We document what is visibly observable: the state of the walls, the light at that time of day, the noise, the view, the road, the walk to the station. We are honest cameras with local knowledge.
We do not give you a valuation, a structural survey, a legal opinion, or advice on whether to buy. For those, you’ll want a geometra, a surveyor, or a notaio — and we’re happy to point you toward independent local professionals.
Why we work this way. Italian Law (L. 39/1989) reserves real estate mediation for licensed professionals. We respect that boundary completely. We are area scouts — your eyes on the ground — not mediators. Read the full statement →
